To welcome Chinese newcomers, DCSSA will hold a newcomer orientation on August 21th. DCSSA committee, DCSSA clubs, Duke Chinese Christian and Duke China Forum will introduce themselves to the newcomers during the orientation. DCSSA adviser Prof. Xiao-fan Wang will deliver a speech on how to better prepare the newcomers for life here at Duke. Ms. Zhou from the library will introduce briefly about how to use the resources at Duke library.

We will also distribute DCSSA discount card which covers many nearby Chinese restaurants and grocery stores and it is free！

Newcomer airport pick-up volunteers will receive their gas compensation at the orientation. DCSSA newcomers please come and join us for some useful information and fun.

Everyone is welcome to attend our orientation.

Time: August 21th, 6：30pm (Pizza and drinks will be provided)
