To better serve the local Chinese and Chinese American communities, CAFA will again assist Chinese Embassy officials to process Chinese passport replacement and/or Chinese Visa applications on 5/4/2008.

Time: Sunday, 5/4/2008, 9:00am-12:00noon
Location: Stewart Theatre, Talley Student Center, NCSU, Raleigh, NC

To process the applications in an orderly and efficient manner, we require online pre-registration. Current CAFA members, current students, scholars, and employees at UNC, Duke, and NCSU with a valid ID are eligible to receive the passport renewal service. Interested applicants please first register your name and other relevant info at http://www.cafanc.org/events/register_visa.html
A $10 fee in cash or check payable to CAFA will be collected by CAFA for each passport that needs a renewal. Embassy collected fees are extra and payable to the Chinese Embassy. Money order or cashier’s check is preferred payments to the Chinese Embassy. Off site service in the Embassy will not charge credit card.
