法律讲座：如何在美国及时转换签证，申请绿卡及创业开办公司？

Workshop Outline: The workshop will cover the up-to-date developments and trends on nonimmigrant visa and green-card applications, as well as legal strategies for handling nonimmigrant visa and immigrant applications for students and scholars. The workshop will focus on immigration options for F-1 and J-1 holders and discuss how to develop effective strategies and prepare documents to win the applications for EB-2 national interest waiver, EB-1A alien of extraordinary ability, EB-1B outstanding research/professor, and employment-based immigration through PERM. The experienced lawyer from Yu & Associates will also provide practical solutions for the students/scholars who are facing nonimmigrant visa issues, including how to apply for H-1B work visa, how to keep lawful visa status during the change of status, and what should be done after the expiration of practical training or during the time of being unemployed. The topic of setting up a start-up company will be briefly introduced at the end of the workshop to those students/scholars who have the ambition to establish their own start-up companies sometime in the future.
