Design Verification Position
The position is to verify the design implementation of an ARM CPU core. Work closely with the Design Engineer to write testcode, ARM assembly programming, from a detailed testplan at the CPU level. Qualified candidates will be able to write testplan, testcode, and debug the RTL design. Innovative verification and tools will be developed and applied to improve design quality, coverage and productivity. This position is focused on verification of the design implementation internal to the processor core.
Requirements:
Must have:•
– Detailed knowledge of CPU micro-architecture, graduate school or work experience.
– Design engineering or verification background.
– Assembly level programming experience, RISC type architecture (MIPS, ARM, PowerPC, etc).
– B.S. or M.S.E.E. Computer or Electrical Engineering
Like to have:•
– New graduates to 10 years experience.
– Firmware or device driver development.
– Perl or scripting language.
– Verilog preferred or VHDL experience.
Note: this is a contracting job for 6-12 months, no relocation expenses available. Starting at ASAP. If your work performance is highly rated, you may have the chance to convert to permanent status.
